A $470,000 Federal Government grant will facilitate the 'McLaren Vale Irrigation Water Security Project,’ in partnership with SA Water, Willunga Basin Water Company and MVCSC.

Due for completion at the end of 2023, the completed business case will support and propose the construction of a new reservoir that could hold an additional 1,350 megalitres of recycled water for the region.

The detailed business case will assess local demand, undertake site investigations and geotechnical analysis and develop infrastructure concept designs.
